After Action Report

At the request of Inquisitor Vallus, the kill team entered an ill thought cave on planet Vanity. Within the cave, the kill team was initially met by Chaos Marines of The Broken warband. Deeper in the cave they met and captured a chaos leader believed to be connected with The Broken, but during his capture a motion set in place prior to their arrival turned the final stone unleashing an unidentified Necron Legion to the planet. While the Inquisitor was clearing out his forces, the inquisitors personal storm troopers locked in battle along side the kill team facing what seemed to be an incomplete Necron force. During this conflict however, the Chaos leader proved to be diligent and of heretical blessing as he came once again to the battle, this time backed by an unknown alien force which had infiltrated the storm trooper ranks. An abnormally concealed warp storm consumed Amyntas along with the heretic forces, followed shortly after by Vallus sounding a final retreat.

“It is with great pride that I write about the loss of our brother Amyntas. Though his body is gone, their may be hope finding him again, but his bravery shall be entered with respect to our records. On this hour, I shall light a candle in respect to the bravery of our lost brother, to signify the light of the emperor which he has shone in glory of battle. Amyntas, May your loss be a guiding light to those lost with you, and your example an aegis to those you fought beside.” -Grom
