  • Striking the same location with multiple attacks in a single turn means that the toughness score will only count for the first attack. Armor is always counted however.
  • Requisition will be rewarded after missions and kept. This means that requisitioning equipment or aid is a cost to you much like a currency, but equipment stays with you now, being placed in your personal armory. And aid is subject to situational discounts.
  • Creating your character: We are using the rules from the core rule book combined with the rites of battle. Background packages may be purchased for experience as normal, but you may skip the section in rites of battle for selecting your initiation method as this will be done later and in greater detail. Uploading a character portrait to the Obsidian portal will give you a bonus of up to 5 renown. Filling out a complete character bio will give you a bonus of up to 20 renown and 20 requisition, but do not be concerned with this until we have gone over your initiation. Maintaining accurate “crunch” of your character on obsidian portal is worth 2 renown per game session, and is also considered a mandatory down time activity. Don’t be afraid to ask for help.
